SMPM has been recognized by the state of Pennsylvania as a concientious leader in environmental affairs. SMPM's commitment to environmental responsibility has twice been honored with the Governors Award for Outstanding Achievement in Pollution Prevention.

We care about the environment. SMPM is fortunate enough to be located in Elk County, Pennsylvania, one of the most beautiful and unspoiled areas in the United States. Our neighbors here include the famous Elk County Elk Herd - magnificent animals that roam free in the woodlands near our facility.

Living and working here is a constant reminder of the majesty of nature - and of our responsibility to treat it with care and concern.
